Talk About is an interview project — short audio clips (perhaps with images) of people talking about what matters to them.

Or rather, it will be an interview project.  I have not actually recorded any interviews yet.  But I am working on that, and it’s time for a website, so here we are.

This is my personal project, not a forum for all humanity to speak. I choose who I wish to interview, approach that person, state my case.

My case is, the interview subject talks about whatever they want to talk about.  Turn on the audio recorder, let people speak about whatever they want, for as long as they want, without interruption.

I will then edit down the audio into short, podcast-friendly clips, with musical intro and outro.

This is first, and primarily, an oral history project:  capturing the human voice is my first priority.

Additionally, I plan to create short video clips around the audio clips, perhaps in the manner of Ken Burns, panning over photos.
